Description
The building is situated in the Ayas valley, in the Resy village, known for being a well preserved walser village and a perfect point for historical/mountaineering journeys. You can easily reach "Rifugio Ferraro" with snowshoes in an hour time, leaving from the square of St. Jacques. From the hut, several tours with snowshoes are possible. Ferraro property is typical of Alpine huts: there are three floors, a dormitory and eight rooms to accommodate 26 people. Showers and bathrooms with WC and bidet are available. This comfortable hut grants a first class cuisine.
